Local Investing YYC is a for-profit investment cooperative with a mandate to provide capital to local businesses that are generating financial returns while creating positive social and environmental change in Calgary. We believe wealth is available right here in our own community for investment in local businesses that are creating jobs, growing and diversifying the local economy and benefiting people and the planet.

To date, Local Investing YYC has raised $700,000 in capital investing in four local businesses that are growing their workforce, innovating and scaling their impact while expanding into new markets.

Local Investing YYC has officially kicked off our 2020/21 raise to support local businesses at a time when the local economy needs it the most. Our goal is to raise up to $2 million in capital to invest in 5-8 local businesses with an investment range of $150,000 - $400,000 per business.
